We need to know the condition of Thames Water’s sewerage network.
The company wants to spend billions repairing the wastewater system. But the regulator, Ofwat, says:
“Thames Water states that it has an 'asset heath deficit' of £19.3 billion. This figure is not robust or reliable…Thames Water have not evidenced how this 'asset health deficit' has arisen…The deficit is far greater than the difference between business plan requests and allowances since privatisation.”
We need you to send our information request so the true health of its assets is known. As bill payers and taxpayers we have a right to know. Particularly if we end up having to cover the costs of the company going into administration.

A list of trickling filters at sewage treatment works in London that have been identified as Condition Grade 4 (Poor) and Condition Grade 5 (Very Poor).
A list of London’s Gravity Sewers and their locations that have been identified as Condition Grade 4 (Poor) and Condition Grade 5 (Very Poor).
What percentage of London’s Gravity Sewer Network has undergone a CCTV internal condition survey?
How many kilometres is this?
